Kathmandu University continues breaking the records

Once again Kathmandu University is facing its dark days following the indefinite strikes called  by the various groups. Starting with the Maoist related student union's (अखिल कान्तिकारी) strike on 25 Shrawan, followed by the Maoist related teachers association on 26 Shrawan and then the strike added on by the local activists (बखुन्डोल तथा भ्यान्डोल शैक्षिक सरोकार समाज). The main gate of the main administrative office of KU has been locked with three separate locks by the three groups presenting their own demands.
Meanwhile a notice pasted on by the Student Welfare Council (SWC) can be seen at the main gate demanding the opening of the University and carry out the daily administrative and other tasks. Though the entrance exam has been conducted for the freshers, the results has not been published yet even after a week has passed from the day of entrance exam due to the following strikes.

The reputation KU has earned till date remains no more and the students are frustrated more then ever and have started guilty on being admitted in this University. This is going to affect the whole university calender and  the students directly. The result of the entrance exam and the end semester exam conducted recently are directly affected. Its seems that this time the regular calender of KU has to be changed in order to start a new session and continue all the academic and administrative tasks of University.
